Q Can I pull my RV in backwards to take advantage of my view window?
A No. We have 32 sites. Many are situated for rear window view, some are set up for front window view. Please pick a site that suits your viewing needs. Over the years we have had many sites damaged by people pulling their RV in the “wrong way”. Park on the designated pad only. Stay off the grassy part of your site. Trucks with campers are not directional as the entrance is from the rear and are permitted to back in or front in, at your discretion.
Q Can I move the picnic table in my site?
A Yes.
Q Can I move the firepit in my site
A No. If the firepit seems to be in a strange spot, come talk to us. Perhaps the last person didn’t obey this rule.
Q Do you have Wi-Fi?
A Yes. We supply free Wi-Fi throughout the resort. We use Telus Fiber Optic Wi-Fi and have extenders positioned all over the resort. It is free to use. All sites and cabins have good to excellent Wi-Fi. We will supply you with the password when you check in. It is up to you to share this with your children. We do NOT monitor the Wi-Fi or the sites people use. Our Asus Router includes high level encryption, but we make no promises or guarantees about your security when using our free Wi-Fi.
Q I am camping with the person in the site beside me. Can I pull in backwards to face them?
A Yes. This is the only instance we will allow pulling an RV in backwards. You must let us know in advance or when you arrive that this is your intention so that we can be involved in how you position your RV.
Q How many people are permitted to stay in an RV site?
A 6. If your family is larger than this, please let us know and we will work with you. If you have more than 6 because of multi-generations or several families, we will insist you take a double site or at least 2 sites side by side. It is too disruptive to other guests to over crowd a site.
Q Can I use a mat in my site.
A Yes, but. Gravel sites, use whatever size mat you wish. Grassy sites, limit yourself to positioning your mat only on the area that has been previously killed by years of other campers in that site. If your mat is larger than the dedicated area, fold it or don’t use it. Every time someone kills the grass, the next guest complains about mud.
Q In the large pull through sites, does it matter where I park my trailer?
A Yes. Park beside the services. If you pull through too far on some of our angled sites, you may be blocking the next sites view of the lake. If you don’t pull in far enough, you wont have anywhere to park your tow vehicle.
Q Can i put up a dining tent?
A Yes. Right beside your trailer is preferred. Be respectful of your neighbor’s view. If you have any doubt regarding your desired location, as at the office and we will find a solution that works for everyone.
Q How many vehicles can I have in my site or at my cabin?
A 2. Your RV qualifies as 1 of them. If your friend/son/neighbor etc stops by to visit, they can park in our guest parking. If you already have 2 vehicles in your site, they cannot park in your site, on the grass, in the road etc. The only exception is empty boat trailers. They can be a 3rd vehicle in your site as they don’t block views and wont harm the grass. This rule applies to most cabins (cabin 1 has room for 3 vehicles) and RV sites 1 – 8 & 21 – 30.
Q Can I wash my RV or vehicle in my site?
A Absolutely not. If we let one person do it, then we have to let everyone do it. We don’t have enough water storage for this kind of use and we don’t need the mud in our sites. Offering to use biodegradable soap doesn’t change the answer.
