RV Sites & Camping

We reserve the right to move any reservation to another site to maximize the use of our sites. This applies to reservations for 1 week or less. Reservations longer than 8 days will be guaranteed at the requested site.

30+ large lake-view RV sites with full services;
30 or 50 Amp power, water, and sewer at each site;
18 sites are Pull-Thru and big rig friendly;
Good lake view from most sites;
Picnic table and fire ring;
Each site has a gravel base with ample parking for your RV and 1 vehicle;
Beautifully kept lawns;
Heated, clean central washroom building with flush toilets ( 2 ), free hot shower ( 1 ), and coin-operated laundry facilities ( Loonies only);

FREE high-speed Wi-Fi is included in your stay.

We require ALL SEWER CONNECTIONS to use an RV Sewer Connector. This makes an air-tight connection so other campers do not have to smell sewage. YOU CANNOT just drop your sewer hose into the pipe. This breaks the seal and can also allow sewage to come up and into your site. You will be responsible for cleaning up any mess that occurs from improperly connecting to our sewer system. We do sell the hose system in the Office if you come unequipped.

We have excellent free Wi-Fi and it broadcasts throughout the resort.  For more information, click here

Cell service is available (Telus Tower).

*Our water is drawn from the lake and we filter it down to 1 micron but do NOT add Chlorine. We have a 1-minute boil advisory on all water on site that comes from a tap of any sort, to ensure it is safe for drinking.

Check-out time: 9 am – 11 am. Wish to leave before the office opens at 9 am? The bill can be paid the night before.

Please be advised, that when you make a reservation with us, you are responsible for all days booked. Keep this in mind and look into Credit Card Cancellation Insurance or Travel Insurance.

We are a small, family run resort and are only open a few months in a year. The last few years have been a challenge between the wildfires, smoke, rain and Covid restrictions. We have quickly learned that we do not have a deal with Mother Nature! If your reservation must be canceled due to Travel Restrictions or Evacuation Orders, we provide a full refund or credit. (within a week of order, not 4 weeks before expected date of arrival) We do not refund deposits due to circumstances beyond our control; smoky air, medical reasons, bad weather, vehicle problems etc. When you make a reservation with us, we are promising you that the space you have reserved will be here for you and you are promising us that you will be here. If you must break this promise, you are still responsible to pay for the space you asked for unless we can rent it for you. We will try and work for you and find someone else to occupy your reservation. So, give us as much notice as you can. We will return any days rebooked less a $30 administration fee for the extra paperwork.

Late check-out? $5.00 per hour up to a maximum charge of the day rate for the site. This must be arranged in advance.

By making a reservation, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any and all damages to all rental items while in your possession. You accept full responsibility if you, your family, and, or your party are injured in any way on the premises. You are responsible for yourself, family members, party, guests, and any other persons accessing Moosehaven with your permission or knowledge. Any person under the age of 19 who wishes to rent an item must have his/her parent or guardian’s permission. You accept that you use all items at your own risk.

SORRY, no *dogs are permitted, so we can continue to share the resort property with the abundant wildlife and birds in the area. Indoor cats in RVs are okay. Guide/therapy/assistance dogs with the appropriate provincial paperwork are permitted. Proof of certification is necessary before the start of the reservation. A one time $20 fee will be charged for any dog that we permit in the campground, and for any animals permitted in our cabins, on a case by case basis.

*We will look at individual requests to allow dogs in your own RV, that don’t bark. I.e., a teacup pom that only squeaks now and then. Or an old hound that sleeps all day and doesn’t care if a deer or fox walks by. Anyone asking for this exception to our rule will have to accept that if the dog barks or whines and irritates other guests, you will be asked to leave and be expected to pay for the entirety of your stay. This also applies to certified assistance dogs. If they are ill-mannered or behave badly, you will have to leave. Our existing guests have made it very clear to us, they do not wish to camp with other people’s dogs.

We are NOT 420 odour friendly. Medicinal or otherwise, if you wish to smoke/ vape, take a hike, literally (or eat edibles). Please go for a walk before lighting up. This is not a request. 1 complaint about pot smell when children are around and you will be evicted from the campground without refund. Yes, we can say/do this even when marijuana consumption is legal, the resort is still private property. If you have a problem with this or plan to challenge us on it, please just book somewhere else.

Cigarette smoking policy: You are permitted to smoke cigarettes in your site. Our firepit, is not your ashtray. Please bring and use an ashtray. Do not smoke anywhere else on our property. We are tired of finding butts at the fish cleaning station, in the playgrounds, etc. Other guests have complained about the smell of cigarette smoke from people walking around the resort, so this is no longer permitted. Thank you in advance for your co-operation in this matter.
